Hospital Caring Clowning is the ideal venue for the person who wants to enhance the hospital environment, one person at a time, one smile at a time.

All candidates for the Bumper “T” Caring Hospital Clowns have an initial telephone interview with a Bumper “T” Caring Clown trainer. The initial interview is followed by an in depth personal interview with a Senior trainer. The candidate then applies to the Volunteer Department of a designated hospital chosen by the prospective clown.

All of our clowns must be in compliance with the volunteer requirements of their designated hospital. The candidate will need to fill out an application, go through health screening tests, criminal checks and attend a volunteer orientation as well as a personal interview with a volunteer services staff member. Upon completion of the hospital orientation process, the prospective clown will begin the Bumper “T” Caring Hospital Clown Training course.
